Know about IT problems before your team does
CloudTechDesk RMM keeps every device healthy, patched and secure with continuous monitoring, automated maintenance and fast remote fixes, so small issues never become outages.
- Continuous device monitoring
- Automated patching and maintenance
- Remote fixes, no site visits needed
Always-on monitoring
Automated patching
Instant, smart alerts
Your devices, watched over every hour of the day
Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) is the technology and service that keeps your computers, servers and network devices under constant watch. A lightweight agent on each device reports its health to a central platform, where our engineers see problems as they develop.
Updates are applied automatically, alerts are triaged by people who know your environment, and most issues are fixed remotely, often before anyone on your team notices something was wrong.
Without RMM
- Problems found only when users complain
- Patches delayed or missed completely
- Engineers travel to site for routine fixes
- No clear view of what devices you own
With CloudTechDesk RMM
- Issues spotted and fixed before they cause downtime
- Updates applied automatically on a schedule
- Most problems solved remotely, in the background
- Full inventory and reporting at your fingertips
Everything your RMM service covers
Seven core capabilities work together to keep your technology healthy, secure and under control.
Continuous monitoring
Health and performance of every device are tracked around the clock: CPU, memory, disk space, services and uptime, so trouble shows up early.
- Workstation and server health
- Disk, memory and CPU thresholds
- Service and uptime checks
INCLUDED IN RMM
Patch management
Operating system and third-party updates are tested, scheduled and deployed automatically, so devices are never left exposed.
INCLUDED IN RMM
Alerting and ticketing
Real alerts, not noise. Issues are filtered, prioritised and turned into tickets with the context engineers need.
INCLUDED IN RMM
Remote support
Secure remote access lets engineers fix problems directly on a device, usually without interrupting the user.
INCLUDED IN RMM
Endpoint security checks
Antivirus, firewall and encryption status are monitored and any drift from policy is corrected.
INCLUDED IN RMM
Software and automation
Install, update and configure software with scripts and policies, so every machine is set up the same way.
INCLUDED IN RMM
Reporting and asset inventory
Always know what you own, who uses it and when it needs replacing, with clear reports in plain language.
- Hardware and software inventory
- Lifecycle and warranty tracking
- Regular health and patch reports
INCLUDED IN RMM
One view across your whole environment
Agents and network monitoring cover the devices and services your business depends on.
Workstations and laptops
Health, performance, updates and security status.
Servers
Windows and Linux servers, services, disk space and uptime.
Network devices
Switches, firewalls and access points.
Cloud services
Availability and health of your key cloud platforms.
Printers and peripherals
Status, supplies and connectivity.
Backups
Job status and failure alerts, so recovery is never a surprise.
Why RMM pays for itself
Proactive care is calmer, safer and usually cheaper than reacting to problems.
Fewer surprises
Issues are caught early, so outages and emergency fixes become far less frequent.
Predictable costs
Planned, automated maintenance replaces expensive call-outs and last-minute repairs.
Stronger security
Devices that are patched, monitored and consistently configured are much harder to attack.
From alert to resolution
What happens, step by step, when something on your network needs attention.
1. Detect
A threshold is breached or a service fails, and the agent reports it instantly.
2. Triage
The alert is classified. Known issues trigger an automatic fix script.
3. Ticket
If a person is needed, a ticket opens with full device context attached.
4. Resolve
An engineer connects remotely and fixes the problem, usually without disruption.
5. Prevent
We record the cause and update policies so it does not happen again.
How we manage patches
Unpatched software is one of the most common ways attackers get in. Our patch cycle keeps devices current without interrupting your working day.
Assess
We inventory every device and application, then agree which updates need approval and which can run automatically.
Test
Important updates go to a small pilot group first, so problems are found before they reach everyone.
Deploy
Patches install in scheduled windows outside working hours, with reboots planned to avoid disruption.
Verify
We confirm each update succeeded, retry any failures and investigate devices that will not patch.
Report
You receive clear patch-compliance reports showing what was updated and what needs attention.
How onboarding works
A structured start means no surprises. Most of the setup happens quietly in the background.
Discovery and audit
We map your devices, users, software and current risks.
Agent rollout
Secure agents are deployed to each device, often with no user action.
Policies and baselines
We set monitoring thresholds, patch rules and security standards.
Go-live
Monitoring and alerting switch on, and your team gets clear contact routes.
Review and improve
Regular reviews fine-tune alerts and plan upgrades ahead of time.
RMM questions, answered
Not sure how RMM would work in your business? Here are the questions we hear most often.
What is an RMM agent, and is it safe?
An agent is a small piece of software installed on each device. It sends health data to the management platform over an encrypted connection, and access is restricted to authorised engineers using strong authentication.
Will RMM slow down our computers?
No. Agents are lightweight, and heavier tasks such as patching and scans are scheduled outside working hours.
Do engineers need to visit our office?
Most problems are fixed remotely. We only travel on-site for hardware faults or work that cannot be done remotely.
Which devices can be covered?
We can cover Windows and macOS computers, servers and many network devices, subject to what your environment contains. We confirm the details during the audit.
How is RMM different from managed IT services?
RMM is the monitoring and automation layer. Managed IT adds helpdesk support, strategy and vendor management on top. You can take RMM on its own or combine the two.
How is pricing worked out?
Pricing normally depends on the number of devices and the level of service you need. After a short review of your environment we send a clear quote.
Ready to stop firefighting and start preventing?
Request RMM pricing and we will review your environment and send a clear, tailored quote.
